Telia joins the Initiative
14.02.2025

The telecommunications company Telia has joined the initiative Employers Against Domestic Abuse.
"Domestic abuse is a serious issue with far-reaching effects on individuals and society as a whole. At Telia, we believe that a responsible employer can play a role in raising awareness and preventing this problem," said Telia’s HR Director Ingrid Viinapuu.
Telia has joined President Kaljulaid Foundation’s initiative Employers Against Domestic Abuse to help create a safer and more supportive workplace and to provide its employees with the knowledge and tools to recognise and respond to signs of domestic abuse. "People spend a significant portion of their time at work, and employers have a unique opportunity to support those who may need help and to encourage open discussions on important societal issues. Together, we can take real steps towards a future with less violence."
"Telia, as one of Estonia’s most respected employers, joining the initiative is a step towards a safer and healthier society—one that understands that preventing domestic abuse is a shared responsibility. Thank you for being part of this change!" said Initiative Lead Triin Adamson.
All employers, regardless of industry or organisation size, are welcome to join the initiative. We invite businesses, non-profit organisations, foundations, and other legal entities that share our values and vision, as well as citizens who are interested in the cause.
